We are currently recruiting two Scaffolder Apprentices (Level 2) to join our growing team across the Manchester area.

This structured apprenticeship programme combines on-site experience with professional training, allowing apprentices to earn while they learn and gain valuable industry skills.

 Apprenticeship Overview

Position: Scaffolder Apprentice (Level 2)

Throughout the apprenticeship, successful candidates will work alongside experienced scaffolders while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification.

What Does a Scaffolding Apprentice Do?

As a Scaffolding Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of construction and access projects throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

You will learn how to:

• Assist with loading and unloading scaffolding materials
• Support qualified scaffolders with scaffold erection and installation
• Assist with dismantling scaffold structures safely and efficiently
• Clean, maintain, and organise scaffold equipment
• Follow risk assessments and method statements
• Understand construction site health and safety procedures
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
• Develop practical skills required for a successful scaffolding career

This role offers an excellent introduction to the construction sector and provides a strong foundation for future advancement.

Professional Scaffolding Apprenticeship Training

Premier Scaffolding Ltd works with Total People, who will deliver the apprenticeship training programme from their Wythenshawe Campus.

Training Programme Details

The apprenticeship includes:

• Block release training every 3–4 months
• Practical and theoretical learning
• Industry-recognised Level 2 qualification
• Ongoing support from experienced trainers
• Continuous mentoring from qualified scaffolders

This combination of classroom learning and workplace experience ensures apprentices develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to succeed in the scaffolding industry.

Working Hours
Standard Weekly Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm

Total Hours: 39 hours per week
